guess all of u noe that qiqi,liwen,xinying and liting took part in the youth for causes... so pls show ur support!!! if you can..pls do help out on days when they are out selling their test tubes and book marks...if you cannot make it..you can also call your friends and family and relatives to support them!!! date: 15th and 16th of june

time: 15th---your group will decide what time u will want to distribute the bags
         16th--- the class will be meeting at mjc at 12.00 pm to collect back the bags

details:
- i(wan chin) will pass the bags to one person in each group
- on the 15th, the group will decide a common time when all members can make it to distribute the bags. u will juz have to leave the bags at the doorstep but make sure it will not get blown away by the wind
- on the 16th, the class will meet in the school canteen and then set off to collect back the bags. How to go about doing it? my suggestion: say name urselfs 1-5. no 1 will station at level 1.no 2 and 3 will be responsible of lower half of block while 4 and 5 upper half of block. As no 2 and 4 collect the bags, 3 and 5 will bring down the collected bags to no 1 so that the weight will be lessen. You can take turns to be the one running up and down. can also take turns to be no 1. (this is only a suggestion.)
-After every group has finish collecting the bags from all mthe blocks allocated, we will gather in the school canteen again and we will be dismissed from there.

[1] 5-cents project----ard 3 yrs ago they had a 1-cent project..that was like they put plastic bags outside pple house and ask them to put in 1-cent since it had lost its value then...then they will tell them when they are going to collect them back..so this yr.. pref during june..they are going to do a similar one but this time collecting 5-cents. it will be a 2 days cip project. Any objections?

[2] fund raising in mjc---this would have to be done separatly..meaning that the above project and this one are 2 diff ones..so if u wanna do both..of course u can but will not be easy..a prob faced would be pple allocation..so ms wang suggested that we conc on the above one first..once every details have been sorted out..then we start to plan for this one..is this okay?

Pls go to ur student portal to do the evaluation form, wont take u very long one..once u have summited,pls make sure that ur status is changed to completed after u have summited ur evaluation...it will then later be changed to endorsed after the tcher has seen it. Faizal..pls check ur student portal and make sure that this cip is found in ur cip portfolio..if not..pls tell me

on thurs afternoon, we stayed back for a while to discuss the reach prog that the class might want to do..basically..i think the class is more into helping mentally/physically disabled pple..correct me if i am wrong..also, i guess maj of the class is more keen into selling things..food,bookmark etcsome are interested to provide services such as henna.Some are also keen in organising camps for the mutes..

the above is a short summary and review about our discussed intiated cip..

before i move on to wat i have discussed with the tcher on our reach meeting on thurs, i would like to ask if u will like to do a cip or a service learning? the main diff: cip is a service we provide, while S-L is a service provided where both parties benefit( meaning that learning is involved)

selling things is interesting, but involves lots of consideration: (1)where to sell? ms wang,our reach mentor, say better in mjc coz outside need license.(2)sell what? most of u noe sell food need innoculation..sell other stuff..students want or not? (3) money?

services such as henna will need to see if the tcher approves with our proposal

as for oganising camps..very fun..very creative(comments made by ms wang).. though my research has shown that SHINE is from 2th july to 31st of july..which means it is after the time we are given to initiate a cip..but i think this can be solved through other means..research on this not done yet..hehe

Basically, it is best we decide which organization u guys want first so that our service will cater to their needs..pls tell me if u guys are more into disabled, children, needy, homes, animals??i will then research on it further
